Having discovered the business needs, their priority, and gaps in delivering them, the next step in the roadmap process is to assess the feasibility of delivering those business needs in terms of time, cost, and risk.
We meet with IT to understand the key drivers of feasibility such as data granularity, frequency of update, change data capture, and the source systems used to supply information.
We also meet with IT to understand their technology strategy, ensure our data strategy is aligned properly, and work with them to assess any technology gaps that may exist in delivering the business needs.
